How to disclose AI-written text
You don't need a tool for this — you need the right sentence in the right place. Here is exactly what Article 50 expects, with examples you can copy.
When disclosure is required
Art. 50(4) ↗Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act requires a disclosure when AI-generated or AI-manipulated text is published to inform the public on matters of public interest. For all other AI-written text — product pages, marketing copy, internal documents — disclosure is not mandatory, but it is quickly becoming the trust baseline readers expect.
Exemption: if the text has undergone human editorial review and a person or organisation holds editorial responsibility for its publication, the disclosure duty does not apply. Keep a record of that review — you may need to show it.

Put it before the text, not after
The notice must be clear and distinguishable (Art. 50(5)). A note above the article works; a grey line buried in the footer does not.

Use the Act's own wording
Mirror the operative phrase “artificially generated or manipulated”. Say “This content has been generated using artificial intelligence” — don't invent softer wording.

Write it in your readers' language
A disclosure your reader can't understand is no disclosure at all. Use the language(s) of your audience — the sentence is available in all 24 official EU languages below.
